What is an eBike ?

An eBike is an Electric Pedal Assist Bike. A pedal assist bike has a sensor in the pedal cranks. Pressure on the pedals tells the sensor it’s time to run the motor. At this time, we only stock eBikes with mid-drive motors. also, we only stock Class one and three‘s.

how fast do they go?

Electric bikes are divided into several classifications: 1, 2, 3. Class one and three are both pedal assist only, the main difference is the top speed. Class 1 bikes are the most common and top out at 20 mph. Class 3 has a maximum speed of 28 mph, PLENTY fast for a bike. Class 2 has a throttle, and is less common than the others because of regulations in different countries.
